Review of NHW schemes in Chalfont St Peter

Alert message sent 19/06/2017 16:41:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Good Afternoon!
Firstly, apologies if you've had this message already, but I'm just finding my way around the Alert database and system - not the most user-friendly I've come across!

With your help I'd like to get a picture of the current status of all NHW and related schemes in Chalfont St. Peter. This will enable us all to see where gaps exist so we can try to fill them. There's no doubt that NHW works best where schemes mutually support each other, with each scheme reinforcing it's neighbours.
To get things rolling please answer the following basic questions - ideally by the end of the month:
  • Do you  have your own sign-in access to the datrabase?
  • What is the name of the scheme you run (or help to run)?
  • When (approx) did the scheme start?
  • How many (approx) households do you cover? (i.e. all in your road)
  • How many active members do you have? (i.e. on your own dataqbase)
  • How would you describe the current status of your scheme, from this list:
    • Very active (weekly contact with members usually)
    • Fairly active (usually contacting members at least once a month)
    • Not very active (roughly Quarterly contact with members)
    • Hardly active (6 - 12 monthly contact)
    • No longer active
Once we have this up-to-date picture of our NHW schemes in the village, I will suggest an informal meeting of Coordinators to discuss we can work together to improve our common security.

Many thanks in advance for your cooperation, and please let me know if you have any queries.

Best wishes

David Alder
