Appeal for witnesses following GBH in Reading

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in Reading.

The incident took place today (11/10) between 12.30pm and 1.30pm in London Road, at the junction with Wokingham Road, in the Crown Colonnade area.

The victim, a 17-year-old boy, sustained a serious stab wound to his leg.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Devjeet Hunjan, of Reading Force CID, said: “This incident has resulted in the victim sustaining a serious wound to his leg.

“We are in the process of carrying out an investigation into this incident, and I would like to appeal for anyone with any information about this offence to get in touch.

“If you have any details which you think could help our investigation, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.”
