Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following  tool thefts in Didcot.

  • Between 23.30pm on Tuesday (10/10) and 8.30am on Wednesday (11/10) unknown offenders broke into a Ford Transit van on Mereland Road, Didcot and stole a petrol disc cutter.

Crime prevention advice:

Please do not leave tools and valuables in your vehicles overnight. Please install extra locks and alarms where possible, park on driveways or in well-lit areas and install CCTV. Consider security marking your tools to make them less desirable and more chance of them being returned to you if stolen. For further advice please contact your neighbourhood policing team by emailing didcotnhpt@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk
