Alert message sent 10/01/2018 13:28:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a break-in and theft of the ATM machine from Co-op, Saville Way, Grove.

At approximately 11.40 last night (9/1) unknown offenders gained entry to the Co-op by prising open the shutter and one male was seen sliding underneath. A chain was placed around the ATM machine and attached to a silver Jeep Cherokee (index: Y***0PY). The Jeep pulled the ATM out of the Co-op which was then believed to be loaded into the boot of the vehicle. It is believed three men wearing hoodies left in the Jeep.

Three males also wearing hoodies were seen walking from the scene to another vehicle that was parked around the corner.

If you saw anything suspicious last night please call 101 and quote reference 43180008886. We are especially appealing for anyone with any details about the second vehicle that was parked around the corner from the Co-op.

Alternatively, if you have information but wish to remain anonymous, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online by visiting www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
