Crime Update Friday 12th January 2018 - Datchet Horton and Wraysbury

Alert message sent 12/01/2018 11:56:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

This message is dated Friday 12th January 2018 for Datchet, Horton & Wraysbury.

Can I thank those who attended our Datchet NHW Meeting last night.  PCSO Surinder Marway did a brilliant presentation about Personal Safety, showing us several simple 'breakaway' techniques, that anyone could use to defend themselves, if anyone was to attempt to grab us, then outlining simple personal safety tips, which will make us safer everywhere.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing that only a few people attended, what was a really informative and useful presentation.  Kate Fitzgerald, the Area NHW Co-ordinator / Parish Council and Joe Strickland from the Parish Council, put in hours and hours of work to support Datchet and NHW in the village.  Please help and support them to support you.

Kate and Joe will try and re-organise a date for Surinder to come back and repeat her presentation, as we all feel it is so useful for everyone.

10/1 - 11/1  Wednesday 9.20 p.m. / Thursday 7 a.m.  Penn Road, Datchet.  Car windscreen smashed.

9/1 - 10/1  Tuesday 5 p.m. / Wednesday 9 a.m.  Staines Road, Wraysbury.  Van side door handle forced.  Van searched.  Drain camera, angle grinder stolen.
