Man arrested in connection with GBH - Reading

Thames Valley Police has arrested a man on suspicion of GBH following an incident near to Reading railway station last month.

At around 3am on Saturday 19 May, a group of eight men dressed as comic book superheroes were walking up Station Hill near to the taxi rank when a silver Prius was driven towards them.

The car mounted the pavement, striking two of the group, causing one man to suffer a broken leg and another to sustain minor injuries.

A 28-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm and released under investigation.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101, quoting reference 43180150994.
