Thefts from vans – Wendover and Halton
Three thefts have been reported from vans in the last few days in the Wendover and Halton areas.
One was reported overnight on Friday (08/06) to Saturday (09/06) in Hampden Road. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Reference number 43180174650
Another van was broken into the same night, in Watermeadow Way and power tools were stolen. Reference number 43180174164.
The following night, Saturday (09/06) to Sunday (10/06) a van was broken into in Haddington Close, although nothing appears to have been taken. Reference number 43180175627.
Please remove all tools and other valuables when you park your vehicle. If it’s not practical to remove tools from work vans, consider utilising a van vault, or secure box within the vehicle.
Make sure that anyone acting suspiciously around parked cars is reported to the police, at the time that you see them. If possible try and get a description of them, along with details of any vehicle they might be using, especially the registration number.
