Appeal for witnesses after a burglary – Weston Turville

A burglary has been reported in the Weston Turville area on Monday (11/06).

Between 12:45pm and 4:50pm the offender(s) smashed a rear patio door at a residence on New Road, activating the alarm. They searched the premise and stole jewellery and a jewellery box.

The alarm activated just before 2pm, so this is likely when the burglary happened. The attacked property is towards the A41 end of New Road.

Detective Constable Gemma Howe, based at Aylesbury Police Station, is investigating this crime. She said “If you saw anything suspicious on New Road that afternoon please get in contact with me.

“There are road works with traffic lights on the road, so a motorist in the queue might have seen something.

“If you were passing along New Road on Monday and have a dashcam, please review it for around 2pm, in case anything has been picked up”

You can contact DC Howe on the 24 hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43180176756.

If you don’t want to speak to the police or give your details you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or report it online.
