Witness appeal following robbery in High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in High Wycombe.

At around 7.15pm on Thursday (4/10) the victim, a 50-year-old man, was walking along John Hall Way when he was approached by a man from behind who threatened him with a knife and demanded money.

The victim handed over £20 and the offender ran away.

The victim was not injured.

The offender is described as a man, about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded top with light coloured trousers and dark shoes.

Investigating officer DC Laura Burns, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of this offence to please come forward.

“I would also urge anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the area to get in touch as it may provide vital information.”
