Cyber Resilience Week Day 5

Alert message sent 09/11/2018 08:11:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

It’s the fifth day of Cyber Resilience Week and we are focusing on Business Resilience.

We are encouraging businesses to be cyber resilient. A cyber-attack or breach can have a devastating impact on your business.

Cyber Aware are encouraging small businesses across the UK to do two simple things which can help improve their online security – install the latest software and app updates and use a strong, separate password for your email.

For more information about Cyber Aware and how to protect your business please visit: https://www.cyberaware.gov.uk/protect-your-business

Throughout Cyber Resilience Week Thames Valley Police, Trading Standards, NatWest, Chiltern and South Bucks District Council, Aylesbury Vale District Council, Wycombe District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council will be sharing various safety messages on social media, so make sure you are following us!

Why not review our Cover It Live session from last night for answers to your questions and advice on how to stay safe online.

Alternatively if you would like to know more, you can arrange a visit to discuss your company's digital security or organise staff awareness training with Thames Valley Police Cyber Protect Officer Mark Godsland MSyI of the Cyber Crime Team, Economic Crime Unit.
