Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police
This message is dated Thursday 6th December 2018 forWindsor.
Sorry there haven’t been many crime updates, but we have been working on our Winter Burglary Campaign.
This is all crime over the last 48 hours.
ONE REALLY GOOD MESSAGE - NO BURGLARIES ACROSS THE ENTIRE RBWM !
First a message from the Borough:
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Ageing Well Strategy, will outline how organisations across Borough, will work together, to help you live healthy, active and happy lives, for as long as possible and if you need more help, how they will ensure they work together, to support your needs.
Can you help?
Once they know what is important to you, as you grow older, they can plan to make sure your priorities are met. They would like your help, to develop an ‘Ageing Well Strategy’, that will run from 2019 to 2023.
They are asking anyone who might be interested, including professionals and older people, to complete the questionnaire below, so they have your thoughts and ideas, at this early stage.
Over the last few months they have already spoken to many people across the Royal Borough. The main issues identified that might impact on our abilities to age well include:
Transport and access to services
Improved access to information and advice
Improved ways of working between community and health services to support healthy ageing
Access to a range of social activities
Access to affordable housing that supports people to live independently as they age
Loneliness and isolation
